Calming Chamomile Face Toner
Calming Chamomile Face Toner
If your skin needs a gentle refresh, this DIY toner is a soothing solution made with simple, natural ingredients. Chamomile is known for its anti-inflammatory and calming properties, while lavender essential oil adds both aroma and skin-supporting benefits. It’s a great addition to any natural skincare routine.
Why Use Chamomile for Your Skin?
Chamomile flowers are widely used to soothe skin irritation, reduce redness, and calm inflammation. When used as a toner, chamomile helps balance the skin’s pH and tighten pores without drying it out.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp dried Chamomile Flowers
- 1 cup Distilled Water
- 2 tbsp Witch Hazel Distillate (alcohol-free)
- 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
- 1 clean Amber Glass Spray Bottle (100ml)
Instructions
- Steep the chamomile: Boil the distilled water, then pour it over the chamomile flowers in a heat-safe bowl. Let steep for 15–20 minutes. Strain and cool completely.
- Mix the toner: In a clean glass bowl, combine ½ cup chamomile infusion with 2 tbsp witch hazel and 3 drops lavender essential oil. Stir well.
- Bottle and store: Use a funnel to pour the mixture into your amber spray bottle. Store in the fridge for freshness.
How to Use
After cleansing, spritz the toner lightly onto your face or apply with a reusable cotton pad. Follow with your favourite moisturiser. Use morning and night for best results.
